Why Preschool Ministry Matters: 10 Biblical Truths

Preschool ministry is a front-row seat to the kingdom of God. In the laughter, curiosity, and even the tears of little ones, we catch glimpses of God’s heart. Every moment we guide children toward Jesus is a chance to show them His love in a way they can understand.

Children experience the world in big, immediate ways, and Jesus meets them right in the middle of it. As leaders, we get to reflect this care—helping preschoolers feel secure and deeply loved while pointing them toward the One who brings lasting joy and peace that reaches far beyond the classroom walls.

1. Mark 10:14 – “Let the little children come to me…”
   Jesus welcomes the littlest of children into His kingdom. When we serve preschoolers, we welcome Jesus Himself!

2. Proverbs 22:6 – “Train up a child in the way he should go…”
   Early spiritual formation has forever impact. The seeds we plant today can grow into generational faith.

3. Deuteronomy 6:6–7 – “…teach them diligently to your children…”
   Preschool ministry allows us to bring God’s Word into everyday moments, building a foundation for faith.

    Children are spiritually capable and valuable. They’re ral people, with real worth! Guiding them toward Jesus is kingdom work.

Preschool ministry matters, and the Bible makes that loud and clear! So on the days when toys are piled high and the room looks like a tiny war zone—take a breath and remember why you do what you do.
